Geena davis is a famous American actress that has been a movie star for over fifty years. She was a Mensa member and actress who played roles as a character in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice, Stuart Little and Thelma & Louise. The actress was nominated as a Golden Globe Award nominee for her character Dottie hinson as Dottie hinson in A League of Their Own. In 1988, she was awarded the Academy Award Best Supporting actor for Muriel pritchett's role in The Accidental Tourist. She was a part of the American horror comedy Beetlejuice and was produced and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis was born on 21 January 1957. She is an American actress and activist. Davis was awarded many awards and honors for her acting roles in films and TV, in addition to being an active activist for women within the film industry. After achieving Junior College All-American accolades, she was accepted into Arizona State University. However her fears led her to stop playing football. In the following years, she went to California State University Fullerton. There, she received a Bachelors in Arts and a concentration in Human Resource Management and Business. In the wake of the completion of her education, she moved in Los Angeles in order to pursue modeling and acting work. Then she came upon an audition opportunity for W.W.E. by chance and after impressing the talent scouts she was selected for a tryout period.
